Fellow Toastmasters:

On behalf of the club, I would like to congratulate the following Humber Shores Members for their participation in last nights Division G Contest:

Mila Babic, Marie Madi, and Scott Audain

These three members did an amazing job advancing from club to area to division contest. Last night, all three participated.

Mila Babic finished first in the Evaluation Speech Contest. Marie Madi finished third in the International Speech Contest.

Congratulations to Mila, Marie, and Scott. It takes courage, dedication, and talent to compete in the Division Contest. You have all made us proud!

We all have an incentive to attend the District Conference as Mila will be competing in the Evaluation Speech Contest.

Regards,

Allan Madonik

We need your vote

We Need Your Vote
Motion:

To keep the Humber Shore Toastmaster phone line for 2010.

Advantages:

-We have gained several new members including three within the last six months
-We are the only club with a phone number in the white page allowing us to be front and centre with prospects, and
-We do not have to give out 'personal' phone numbers

Disadvantages:

-It costs the club approximately $500 per year to keep the phone line, and
-Funds could be used for parties or supplies for our club

Instructions:

-Members please vote by noon, Wednesday, January 27th 2010
-Select your vote on the right-hand navigation bar under the heading entitled, "Motion to keep or get rid of our phone line" and then press "Vote". You can only enter one vote per person.
